Florida Condo Associations:
Collect Assessments from Renters
Many of the condo units sold in the state of Florida are purchased as investment properties. That means the owner is not using the unit as their primary residence but is renting out the unit for profit.
In the state of Florida, when an investment property owner fails to pay their condo assessments, the community may be eligible to collect the fees from the renter in lieu of the rent they would typically pay to the owner.
If your condo association is eligible to collect in this way, this letter will help. Complete the form to download the letter to use as a template in your collections process.
