Another CAI Annual Conference & Expo is officially in the books! The Axela team had a blast and walked away with great memories and stronger connections throughout the industry.
Reflecting on last week’s activities, here are some of the takeaways we would love to share with you all.
A Little Rain Never Hurt Anyone
Axela had the pleasure of sponsoring the opening day Cabana Party which…unfortunately saw some dreary weather. But, while the rain was a drag, the vibes were still immaculate! We will always jump at the opportunity to network alongside such strong providers in the community association industry.
Even through the rain, the conversations with current (and future!) management company partners gave our team insight into how Axela’s technology products are currently being used and how we can strive for excellence in our partnerships going forward.
At the end of the day, very little beats being poolside and chatting with the best in the biz, rain or shine. It was a lovely reminder that even through difficult times and unexpected challenges, we can all still come together to learn, to connect, and find ways to improve debt recovery experiences at every level of community management.

AI is Still Having It’s Moment
The artificial intelligence movement is still going strong. This might not be breaking news to anyone (us included), but it’s still worth acknowledging as more and more companies roll out AI services to the industry.
With a new AI platform or product launched seemingly every day, taking inventory of what needs are being served and where gaps are being identified can go a very long way in deciding how to use all of the AI at your fingertips.
We are proud to stand beside technology partners like CINC, Vantaca, and Enumerate as we all strengthen our AI tools to best serve communities and management companies day to day. For us, Axela AI continues to redefine how communities analyze collections and community data. Our goal is to evolve both thoughtfully and expeditiously to meet the needs of all communities through new insights and data analytic tools.

Learning Never Stops
For three days straight, our team had the opportunity to connect with all kinds of people—from movers and shakers in the CAM space down to brand new volunteer Board members, each conversation brought something new and thought provoking to the team. Every single person gave us something to think about.
Whether you are a new manager finding their sea legs, or a seasoned thought leader in this vast and complicated industry, you brought something to our booth that will help Axela grow to better serve the industry. There is always work to be done and something to be improved. And we hope that we offered insights into the ways technology can improve community association delinquency recovery, and why no community should feel shoehorned into managing HOA collections by doing things “the way they’ve always been done.”

One week later, we are already working on ways to make next year’s Annual Conference & Expo spectacular. Party planning is obviously happening (I mean we’ve GOT to plan something amazing if we’re heading back to Vegas, right?), but so are big conversations in-house about the finer details of the Axela technology ecosystem. How can we implement the cutting-edge changes you all want and need to better serve your communities as they navigate delinquencies? What do those changes realistically look like for all users, and how can we take those enhancements even further?
